  11. I seem to have a problem with some memory in my Zeus '040.  Can anyone here
  12. suggest how to go about fixing this?

  14. I have the first three of the RAM banks populated with 1 X 8 SIMMs and the
  15. last bank populated with 4 X 8 SIMMs.  I add the memory using "addmem >nil:
  16. 08000000 09C00000 32bit local".  I am using version 3.01 of addmem.

  18. When I use MemTest to check the RAM, it reports many, many errors.  The
  19. lowest address seems to be around $088CA180 and the highest seems to be
  20. around $08BFFD40.  If I have learned to figure out these hex -> decimal
  21. conversions properly, this puts the errors between 8 megs and 11 megs of my
  22. 32 bit RAM.

  24. So my question is, how do I determine which SIMM(s) are defective?  Is
  25. there some way of figuring it out using the memory addresses?  Or is it a
  26. brute strength method of changing every SIMM as if they were Christmas tree
  27. lights?
